- 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions
How did it go?
This was super easy. I mean before I saw this recipe, I had no idea what a “compote” even was, and I still managed to make it quite nicely! The only time-consuming part of preparing it was slicing up all those onions. And I had just about everything needed for this recipe already stocked in my cupboards, except the cranberries, which are of course really easy to find this time of year.

Hello! Thanks for following me on Twitter 🙂 It’s nice to meet you. I’ve never been to your blog before! I really like this recipe. I wish I could make it for tomorrow but I am not responsible for bringing the cranberry sauce 😉

Hi Meagan! Yay, thanks for stopping by! Yeah I feel like I’m totally off the hook this year with my Thanksgiving contributions, especially since this was so easy! 😀

Ok, you convinced me to make this one. I, like you, am not really familiar with compote, but I’m curious enough to give it a try!
