Hey everyone! Welcome back to Sunday School! This is our weekly time to teach, learn, share, and reflect on all that is Real Food blogland.
I was late in getting this up today (sorry!), and didn’t have time to find some good Lesson Notes link love posts — that’ll have to wait ’til next week. Let’s get straight to our featured submissions!
Teachers of the Week!
Weekly Breakfast Schedule by Real Food Digest: Meal planning is so important to save time, money, and frustration, but breakfast seems to be the toughest one for me to plan! I love the idea of having a general schedule for what kinds of breakfasts will be happening each day of the week.
Lazy Strawberry Coconut Yogurt by Food Farm Health: I read this and was like, wait a minute — coconut yogurt?! Like from coconut milk? Yes! It’s possible. And it looks delicious! What a great recipe!
Action Alert: Nutritionists Need Your Help! by Real Food Forager. The American Dietetics Association, responsible for licensing Registered Dietitians, is lobbying for legislation to monopolize the entire field of nutrition — requiring nutritionists even with advanced degrees to complete ADA programs peddling their Coca-Cola-sponsored regime, and become licensed under them to practice legally. This is scary. A dietician promotes conventional nutrition advice, while many nutritionists do not, and should not be forced to. See what you can do about this important issue in this post, and spread the word!
Show & Tell ā Itās Blog Hop Time!
Classroom Rules:
- Please only link to posts coveringĀ real rood or healthy lifestyle-relatedĀ topics. In my eyes, this includesĀ nourishingĀ recipes, articles about (real!) nutrition, tutorials, discussions of food politics, homesteading, tips and tricks for keeping a green, healthy home, and other healthy, holistic living topics!Ā If youāre a B.B. subscriber, you know that I myself donāt only blog about food ā sometimes I write about pretty random things ā but it all relates to simple, healthy living that goes against the grains of conventional wisdom.
- If you do post a recipe,Ā please donāt include any fake or weird, chemically ingredients!Ā No vegetable oils, processed sugar, white flours (well, maybe here and there is okay, even Sally uses all-purpose flour for pie crust sometimes), hydrolyzed soy protein, powdered eggs/whey/protein/ANYTHING, low-fat fakeness, or other non-real āfoodā product ingredients! If youāre unsure what Real Food is all about, just poke around this site and the ones listed on my blogroll, and youāll start to see. Or just raise your hand and someone will call on you! (email or comment.)Ā
- Please update your post with aĀ link back to this Sunday School post, so your readers can get in on all the learninā going on here! A simple, āThis post is linked toĀ Sunday SchoolĀ at Butter Believer!ā is perfect. Just blog carnival courtesy, is all!
- I canāt imagine having to do so, but if our rules arenāt followed by certain links, I guess Iāll have to delete them. Iām sure everyone is more than capable of playing nice, though!

Hey Emily,
Thanks for a great real food link up! Today I shared how I make whey from yogurt in Why Whey and How to Make It. Broth-Based Soup is a weekly favorite here to help keep colds and flues away, so I shared that as well. Lastly, Pepper Steak with Gravy hits the spot at our house. I love the added flavor the onions and green peppers add.
Thanks again, have a great Sunday afternoon!
