Want access to a $199 nutrition course for FREE?
No, this isn’t a giveaway. Well, not in the sense that you have to enter to win it. It’s available to everyone to get for free! Let me explain.
Kristen Michaelis, of Food Renegade fame, is coming out with a brand new book. It’s all about real food nutrition for fertility, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and baby’s first foods. It’s going to be released next month, and people are pretty excited about it!
The title of the book, Beautiful Babies, may sound familiar to you — that’s because last year, Kristen launched her online course by the same name, which included everything a mama needs to know about nutrition for pregnancy and beyond. It’s been hugely successful, and those who took the class have been giving rave reviews ever since. Like this one:
I want to thank you a hundred times over for the ‘Beautiful Babies’ e-course. I followed the recommendations that you made and I had a healthy, complication-free pregnancy and birth. I didn’t get any stretch marks, varicose veins, no swelling, no pre-eclampsia, etc. I had a water birth with no complications, and I didn’t use any painkillers or any drugs! I left the ‘birthing center’ the same day. I couldn’t be happier! Just 1.5 weeks after giving birth and I can fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes.
—Keri Hessel, Beautiful Babies student
Now, the information in Beautiful Babies is not only available as an e-course, but as a real, live, paperback book.
So, to celebrate the launch of her new book, Kristen is giving away enrollment to her online course, to everyone who pre-orders a copy of the Beautiful Babies book.
Yes, you read that right!
Everyone who pre-orders the Beautiful Babies book, gets free access to the Beautiful Babies e-course!
I kind of can’t believe how good of a deal this is. When I read the announcement, my eyes bugged out and my jaw dropped a little bit… I’m not kidding! How often do you get to have access to $224 worth of stuff that you really want, for $15?!
The class is worth $199, and plenty of people have paid that over the last year to get access to the invaluable information it provides. The book’s listing price is $24.95, but right now, Amazon is selling it for about $16. [Edit: It’s now just $15 and change!]
So, you’re basically getting it all, for 93% off. That is CRAZY.
Would you pay $15 bucks to learn…
- Why soy can prevent pregnancy
- How eating a low-fat diet makes you 85% more likely to be infertile
- How to successfully breastfeed your baby, and why it’s so important
- About gentle, natural birth alternatives
- What to do if breastfeeding doesn’t work for you (and it’s not commercial formula!)
- Why babies shouldn’t eat cereal (they can’t digest it!)
- How and when to introduce baby’s first foods
Are you already a pretty crunchy mama and are familiar with that stuff? Well, how about learning…
- How to reduce your chances of needing a C-section, and have an easier natural birth
- How to use nutrition to have a happy pregnancy, without painful swelling, morning sickness, varicose veins, or even stretch marks
- What to eat during pregnancy to prevent your child from getting ear infections; developing asthma, allergies, behavioral problems, or even autism; and requiring eyeglasses or even braces later in life
- What to eat so that your child can develop a beautiful, wide, and symmetrical face with high cheekbones
- How to prevent the devastating symptoms of post-partum depression
- What to do if you get sick while pregnant, and how to treat an infection without dangerous antibiotics
- How to flatten your tummy after birth
The Book
In case I didn’t make it clear already, Kristen’s new book is like, a legit, hold-it-in-your-hands book. Like the kind you buy in a bookstore. It’s not an ebook.
I’m in the middle of reading a copy of it, and I cannot get enough. It’s the kind of book that sucks you in and you just don’t want to put it down. I read a lot of really boring nonfiction books, because well, that’s kind of part of my job, but this book isn’t anything like that. It’s absolutely fascinating, packed with so much information I can’t put my highlighter down, and it’s written as though Kristen herself is speaking directly to you, with her “feisty spirit and mischievous humor,” as Joel Salatin puts it.
Oh, yeah, you know that guy? Super famous author, public speaker, sustainable agriculture advocate, and farmer Joel Salatin? He wrote the forward to Beautiful Babies. And it made me literally shed a tear, it was so moving.
Along with everything you’d ever need to know about pregnancy and baby nutrition, Beautiful Babies also has over 50 recipes to get you started and cooking the right things for you and your baby at home. Like these amazing homemade parmesan chips!

Do you know if the course begins and ends in real time or is it something I can save and use later as and when I need it? And possibly revisit as many times as I want to? I am neither nursing nor pregnant (that I know of). I like books of the kind but if she tells me to eat liver or else (I am a vegetarian. You know me, sort of!)… Does she have the eat meat or wither away attitude? It would be nice to know. I don’t want to spend good money only to have someone tell me that I have to go against my beliefs and eat meat for her course and/or book to work. I don’t want to debate about why I don’t eat meat (this is not for you, Emily, but for any other reader who disagrees with my beliefs).

Great questions — yes you can go through it when you would like to and at your own pace, and revisit as many times as you need to as well.
And, I have not finished the book yet nor been able to look through the course, but my understanding of Kristen’s views is that while she does promote animal products, she’s really only against veganism, not vegetarianism. Much like myself — which I hope you know, that I’m totally cool with anyone not wanting to eat meat, for ANY reason, but especially for religious ones. I will look into the book/course content further though and let you know! 🙂

What is the philosophy in book? Is this a book to promote new age practices: yoga, pilates, acupuncture
etc.? Thanks, the answer is very helpful!
Cheryl Stebbins says
Does she discuss PCOS in the book and/or course?
