Announcing Sunday School at Butter Believer: Link Love + Blog Carnival!

Hey guys — got an announcement to make!

I’ve so loved sharing all the awesome tips, tricks, information, and other real food inspiration I learn on my weekly series I’ve had going, What I’ve Learned Wednesday. But recently I thought, how could I make my little link love post something our readers could interact with a little more? Share what they’ve also learned — or even — make it a place to leave something they’d like to teach! Sure, comments are all well and good, but, I wanted to take it a step further…

How about a blog carnival, y’all?!

Blog carnivals, or blog hops, or Linky’s, are one of my favorite ways to interact with other bloggers, find new blogs to follow, and help other people find me! I would be willing to bet that a large portion of B.B.’s subscribers originally found us through a blog carnival link. They are magical things, those carnivals!

But, I didn’t really think it made sense to add a carnival to What I’ve Learned Wednesday, because I didn’t want the subject matter to be limited to posts in which you share what Real Food knowledge you’ve learned, especially since so many of you are basically experts and doing a lot more teaching than you are learning! I want everyone to be able to post anything that fits under the umbrella of the lifestyle we adhere to around here — real food recipes, tutorials, videos, discussions of food politics, homesteading or gardening tips, green and healthy living ideas, anything that’s relatively, well, related to our Butter-Believin’ lives! 

So, we’ll be retiring WILW for now and instead, starting Sunday School! Oh, but I’ll still be posting about what I’ve been reading from other blogs, so we can all get in on the learnin’ — I’ll include links and blurbs to my favorites that week — including featuring my top picks from the previous week’s submissions to the carnival! 

Alright! Is everyone excited, or what?! I don’t know about you, but I’ve found that blog hops hosted on the weekends are pretty hard to come by — so if you’re a fellow blogger, hopefully this will be a welcomed addition to your weekly link-ups!

Now, I’ve gotta go figure out how the heck you get a Linky tool set up on this thing! 😀 See everyone on Sunday!
